Happy New Year – 2010
Jessica has been doing most of the blogging lately, so I figure it’s about time that I post my side of the story. But before I do, check out the Twitter feed on the right side of the page. It will contain day-to-day posts on what Jessica and I are doing. Our latest four posts should be up there now. If you have Twitter, be sure to follow us.

Since Christmas, we’ve been very busy, as always. We hosted our 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Party, and the party was great. I think we counted somewhere around 15 people that were able to make it. Thanks everyone for coming… it’s you that make it fun. We just host… and we’re already looking forward to next year’s party.

Soon after New Year’s was Jennifer and Ben’s wedding. From a married older brother’s point of view, it’s really weird to have a married younger sister. I suddenly feel much older than I did a month ago. Overall, the wedding was a lot of fun. The ceremony and reception were great – I heard nothing but compliments about it; Jennifer and Ben did a great job. I got to spend a lot of time with my family who I don’t get to see all that often, and I got to relax from the hectic pace of things in the real world. Northgate with my dad and cousin was an experience to say the least…
Congrats to Jennifer and Ben for starting a new part of your life; and welcome to the family Ben, I know everyone is happy to have you officially a part of it.
Other than that, this New Year has been about changing for the better. We have finally filled our house (now a home) with the few little cosmetic/comfort things that we felt we were missing. We’re working on a few investment ideas to get ahead in life. And we’re both setting goals for the short and long-term future.
This weekend we’re headed north to Fort Worth for Lynnsey and Todd’s wedding. We will update you on that, and the rest of our lives soon.
