Jessica and I finally have a little free time, which has resulted in yet another change on the website. We’re officially moving over to JessicaAndHollis.com this week. Now you’ll get to hear a little more about us and our life together instead of just me and my boring rants. Hopefully you’re still around and checking on the site. I resolve to update more in 2009.
Since my last update we’ve celebrated Jessica’s birthday, hosted our first family Thanksgiving, went down to Corpus Christi for Christmas, and hosted our 1st annual New Years party at the house. (The New Years pictures are the best). We’ve also had a few other things happen that I’ll just list to get you all caught up…
- We’ve been able to make a few updates on the house… including painting the living room and a TV mounted over the pool table.
- I had a clutch that I had to get replaced in my car. ($$$$)
- I learned how to dance to a car horn.
- We’ve got the Christmas lights taken down.
- Jessica got a new vacuum cleaner that “she loves more than anything”.
- Touche’ almost lost her eye to an ulcer, but now she’s on the road to recovery.
- We still don’t have a new name for Rex. Sorry, your suggestions just weren’t that good.
- I’ve applied to become a board member of our Home Owners Association after getting fined for my gutters.
- I’ve made huge progress on my side business which has been a long time coming.
- I may have been the first person in the Central Time Zone to kiss two sisters in 2009. (I had permission! Kayla’s first kiss of the new year was only on the cheek.)
We hope that we haven’t lost you as a reader, and we would like to wish you the best in 2009. We’re very excited about the possibilities of 2009, and can’t wait to share it all with you.
